Watercolors
Included on this page are samples of some watercolors I have done. Some items are sold, but others are still available for sale. I also have many more in my home gallery.
When teaching watercolor, I cover many techniques, methods, and styles and encourage experimentation . It is my goal to impart whatever knowledge I may have of the medium enabling each person to develop their own unique style.

Riley
In the classroom we often include quick 5 minute studies to loosen up. These are "no pressure" mini paintings.
Classes are project oriented and include a variety of subject matter, as well as how to use and mix colors, the importance of values, and various ways of creating interesting effects. The goal is to learn and enjoy the process.
Here are several samples of watercolors on Yupo paper. Yupo is a non-porous surface so the paint is not absorbed as with standard watercolor paper. This paper presents its' own set of unique challenges with some amazing results.
